Perpl partners with Agora

We’re excited to announce our new partnership with Agora, an on-chain stablecoin infrastructure platform backed by Paradigm and Dragonfly.  Agora is the issuer of AUSD.  The Agora Reserve Fund uses State Street as the cash custodian and VanEck, the global investment management firm with over $100 billion in assets under management, as the investment manager.

Earn 4%+ APY on Stablecoins

This integration will earn 4%+ APY* on stablecoin deposits passively. That means your capital stays liquid, nimble, and earning yield in real-time while you await the next market move.

This is just the beginning of a modular architecture designed to make Perpl the most capital-efficient trading venue in DeFi.

“Our vision is to bring the highest level of capital efficiency and utility to Perpl users from day one. Partnering with projects like Agora opens the door to native yield primitives that don’t require us to reinvent the stack.” said PBJ.

“We’re thrilled to be working with the Perpl team as they bring the best trading experience to users globally.  This is a team with deep trading expertise and are bringing the mindset of a trader to the Perpl platform.” said Nick van Eck.

Why It Matters

Unlike closed appchains that need to rebuild partnerships and navigate licensing challenges from scratch, Perpl is built to move fast and integrate deeply. Our EVM-native architecture allows us to compose with best-in-class infrastructure like Agora.

This gives us, and our users, a significant head start in delivering features that competitors may take months or even years to replicate.

What Is Agora?

Agora is building the next generation of stablecoin and capital markets infrastructure, offering access to institutional-grade stablecoin products. Their compliance-forward design and use of giants like State Street and VanEck puts them at the forefront of regulated DeFi innovation.

Together, we’re creating new possibilities for what a DEX can offer.

We’re just getting started. Stay tuned for more updates on how Agora’s stablecoin infrastructure will be integrated into the Perpl platform and what that means for traders, LPs, and capital allocators across the Monad ecosystem.

* This yield is offered by the Agora Protocol and is subject to change based on factors such as interest rate environment.

Leverage Descent: Sybill proof OI caps

Leverage Descent: Sybill proof OI caps

In March 2025, a trader opened an oversized short in a low market cap memecoin on Hyperliquid at 20× leverage, then moved the price so the position liquidated into the protocol’s market-maker vault. The vault took millions in losses, and Hyperliquid was forced to override the price oracle. Hmm? Seems like HLP cant close their $JELLY shorts cus their orders got rejected. Maybe this is because OI caps have been hit. Prob worth looking into it ASAP ser @chameleon_jeff @xulian_hl @HyperliquidX h

Avoiding the unavoidable key compromise

Avoiding the unavoidable key compromise

A few days ago, Ostium was compromised due to access to privileged keys: pricing and execution. This allowed the exploiter to open trades at prices drastically below the market and close them at the market price. After the trade, the funds were immediately withdrawn from the protocol and bridged to Ethereum, resulting in losses of roughly $18 million. There's been a lot of talk about ways to protect against such compromises, from instant settlement to better key security, but most solutions ar

Understanding liquidations in perp markets

Understanding liquidations in perp markets

Perps take trading to the next level. With leverage, flexibility, and the ability to speculate on ups and downs, more and more traders are jumping into the perp game with the hopes of reaping the benefits. But trading perps comes with risk and one of the most important risks to understand is liquidation. If you’re trading perps, knowing how and why liquidations happen can make or break your trading experience. In this blog we will unpack the mechanics of liquidations, the role of margin trading,
